Like last year, I will be attending the Eclipse Con 2012 in Ludwigsburg.
Our Eclipse and OSGI team will have several talks and I will be there helping with our sponsor booth.
Why is that important? Eclipse and OSGI are a core part of our Jazz based solutions. It not only provides the basis for our RTC Client, but is also heavily used in the servers. A major part of the extensibility capabilities RTC provides is due to it running an Eclipse based server. We use a lot of capabilities that have been created for Eclipse in many areas. Therefore the future of Eclipse is very important for us. Eclipse Con is one of the places where the community can really physically meet, team up and plan the effort and direction for the future. If you are interested in Eclipse, RTC or Jazz, that is the place to be.
I am looking forward to meet interesting people in Ludwigsburg and for the opportunity to talk about Eclipse, Jazz and RTC.
